to the Nova Scotia Wildlife Carvers and Artists Association. The club was formed in 1989 and now has members throughout the Maritimes and Newfoundland. Our first competition was held in the fall of 1989, and since then, some of our carvers have advanced to world class artists, bringing home ribbons from the Ward (World) Competition in Ocean City, Maryland.

May 2022 – 30th Atlantic Carving Competition and Show
The show was a great success with lots of carvings in all levels and many categories. Thank you to all Volunteers and Competitors for making it a success. Thank you to Jim Edsall for being our Judge this year.
Next year – May 5,6,7, 2023 we’ll be having our 31st Show. Theme carvings are Puffin and Atlantic Salmon (in-the-round). Hope to see you there. Check back her for more details. Meanwhile here are some of this year's entries
